Just caught these after being pointed here by a couple of other history 'casts I listen to, and I have to say, very well done. I'm not even getting any of that "they're just getting started so it's a bit rough around the edges" vibe.

This is a period of history I had no interest in whatsoever until a year or two ago when I played Sardinia-Piedmont in Victoria 2. Since then I've had a vague back-of-the-mind desire to learn more about the era. This fits the bill nicely.

In other words, subbed!

Thanks, we're glad you like it! We spent a lot of time preparing the podcast particularly to avoid the 'rough around the edges' problem, and we're glad people have noticed!

I've never actually played Victoria 2 (though Adam has), but I'm a huge fan of Hearts of Iron 3 and Crusader Kings 2. Maybe I should give it a try.

It's Càpri not Caprì
It's Pavìa not Pàvia
